Job Description:

BuildByBits’ mission is to create a world where people can Belong Anywhere. As we grow to achieve that mission, we’re seeking an experienced team member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in digital marketing as a whole and a passion for driving planning, prioritization and program execution.

We are looking for candidates who share our passion for tackling complexity head-on, in addition to helping the team deliver predictable, consistent program execution. This leader should have a strong sense of ownership and ability to think and work strategically with product and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving client success and supporting our growth strategy. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, fostering long-term, trust-based partnerships.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute account strategies to align client goals with our company’s offerings.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address client challenges, ensuring a seamless experience and consistent satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, and support) to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account metrics, presenting insights and recommendations to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Mentor junior account managers, sharing best practices and providing guidance to enhance team performance.
  • Contract Management: Oversee renewals, negotiations, and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of account management experience, preferably in [industry/sector].
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals and KPIs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., BuildByBits Suite, Salesforce, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Leadership experience or a demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members.
